Muralist Aime Palmer , of Shoreline, puts the finishing touches are the artwork she created for the Shoreline Fire Department's new Fire Safety Center in Richmond Beach. The mural was commissioned by the Shoreline International Association of Firefighters Local 1760 -- as a backdrop for children who get their picture taken sliding down the child-sized fire pole. The Safety Center, set to open later this month, is targeted to children under the age of 6 to learn about fire and life safety. Palmer, a professional artist and set designer, can be contacted via her company, Scenicpeaches@juno.com . com.
